Today is a strange day, you gotta know. The best friend of that Porcupine is getting married! That guy doesn't know me AT ALL. However, I DO know very much about him. So, that soon-to-be-groom, we call him Dre. And the lucky girl is Dee. I mean, I have heard So Much about them from the Porcupine. In my opinion, he is not a really good looking man, but truly, he is a hard-working, smart, nice-hearted and will-be-rich doctor. While his fiance is also a medical student, not very beautiful, but hey, her smile is so sweet. They would go to the strangest places together, the girl would leave the house for the boys to have fun for Halloween, and the guy is really faithful. They have been living together for quite some time, they own two dogs in the house. I mean, what's better than that?!
No one knows what the future holds. Boring old stuff. Everyone has that time you want to have the best time, sip the hottest vodka, get the most attention in the room. But that is just short term Rock Star Teenage Dream. At the end, when you are like 29 or 30, you gotta have that someone to be with you. Stifler in American Pie may not agree with me. Some guys may think 'Oh, god. I can't. I really can't. Sorry, I just can't imagine myself staying with the same person for the rest of my life.' That may be what the Porcupine that I know is always thinking. I don't know. I am just not that kind of person. You know, romantically speaking, don't you find it Soooo beautiful to grow old with that person, to tease him for starting to loose his hair, wait for him in the airport after his trip, do all his laundry for him and touch his rough winkles...
I am young, not yet experienced those moments with a person. Some girls my age have already 'done' tons of things. I don't know. Sometimes, it's just nice to think of it. Knowing someone I don't really KNOW him, that he is getting married, seeing he changed his Facebook status to engaged to Dee. It puts a smile on me. This world has gone wicked somehow. It's just happy to see some people are having the same faith as their partners, that they believe they are committed to each other, that they want to spend their life time with that someone special.
In the age of Divorce, over half of the married couples will end up splitting up. Who really knows whether they are still with the same old person when they have grandkids. This is the cruel reality. the problem is if they are strong enough to stay true to their spouse. I mean, look at the ancient time. Big family wouldn't care if you like that person or not, you just gotta marry that blind and ugly dude just for the family name sake. They can lead the happiest family for the rest of their lives, because they knew they had to make it work, so they insist. We are much luckier. Look at Dee and Dre, they have nice paid jobs which they are enthusiastic about. They live in one of the most romantic places in the world - NOLA. Travel around and do volunteer work for people in need. Honestly, I do envy them! Who doesn't?
An overwhelming beautiful love story made my soul weak. That's why I watched American Pie earlier, to bring back some douch-iness in my mind. You know guys, Dre is Porcupine's best friend in the whole wild world. He is getting married, it just reminds me of him, which is sad. Well I had to tell myself, at least there are still good men this time who are willing to commit to the women that they love.
All the best to Dre and Dee, even they don't even know me. They are doing the right thing at the right time. It is a gift from God that they meet each other and they know it and treasure it.

Remember to be true to yourself and don't be a player. Even if you want to (when you were young?), tell that guy/girl in advance, don't stab hearts. I know nowadays many female are the ones who play games, just be honest to that person that all you want is blah blah blah, don't ever fool them, you know. And if you are the minority that seek true love, shut down your internet, it's never a good place to find life long partner. Go out, be safe and know some people, some real life tangible people. this can at least broaden your social circle, it's good.
